Getting Around

From walking and biking to SunRail, Rollins students have a number of on- and off-campus transportation options.

Campus Bicycle Program

Launched in 2009, Rollins’ borrow-a-bike program has grown to include nearly 50 bicycles. Rollins students, faculty, and staff can check out a bike for free from the Olin Library circulation desk for three days at a time. Each bike comes with a lock, and patrons can even check out helmets and lights.

Want to see a show at the all-new Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center or cheer on the Magic at the Amway Center? Thanks to SunRail, downtown Orlando's myriad entertainment options are just a 15-minute train ride away. The Winter Park station on Central Florida’s new commuter rail line is located less than half a mile from campus, and a round-trip fare from Winter Park to downtown costs less than $4.

Winter Park Village Shuttle

Rollins’ Office of Student Involvement and Leadership provides a shuttle to the Winter Park Village on Friday evenings. The shuttle runs to and from campus until midnight and gives students access to the Winter Park Village’s grocery store, movie theater, restaurants, and shops.

Wonderful Walking

With its picturesque lakeside location, impeccably groomed paths, and compact size, Rollins is one of the most walkable campuses in the country. And thanks to Rollins’ immediate proximity to downtown Winter Park, your bipedal pursuits extend beyond the confines of America’s most beautiful college campus. Park Avenue, the city’s cultural epicenter, converges with the campus, so first-class shopping and dining are just a stroll away.
