An Intimate History

With a deep-rooted history and legacy in the Rollins College campus, from WPRK to The Sandspur, Student Media has always had a home in the hearts and minds of Rollins students.

Open for All, Fun for All

In line with Rollins College’s core beliefs, Student Media welcomes any and all students from all kinds of backgrounds and beliefs to participate in our engaging and culturally important work. From opinion articles on The Sandspur to starting your own Podcast on WPRK, Student Media takes pride in its diversity.

From The Sandspur, WPRK, and The Independent, student-run media is thriving at Rollins. Representing the student conscious of the Rollins College campus, our Student Media serves to provide students various platforms to express their beliefs, concerns, and other matters that the student body should be aware of. It also provides a outlet to share the world's arts such as music and radio with WPRK, as well as literary and painted art with Brushing

Live DJs, ranging from students to faculty to community members, broadcast new indie music and an eclectic mix of musical genres that’s rarely played on commercial airwaves. Founded in 1952, WPRK has built a respected reputation throughout the state of Florida. WPRK also hosts our annual fun-packed Fox Fest, an ecclectic concert that serves as a celebration for local musicians in the Winter Park and Orlando areas.
