Department Chair of Psychology

Dr. Dunn joined Rollins College in the Fall of 2014 and became Director of the Psychology Program in the Hamilton Holt School in 2016. She teaches in both the Holt School and the College of Liberal Arts, offering courses in Psychology of Relationships, Positive Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Science of Compassion. Her commitment to teaching and service has been recognized through the Rollins College Daniel and Kyle Riva Distinguished Faculty Award (2016, 2019) and the Cornell Distinguished Service Award (2025). Dr. Dunn served as Interim Dean of the Hamilton Holt School in 2023-24.

Prior to joining Rollins, Dr. Dunn spent 18 years on the faculty at UCF, where she was a founding member of the clinical psychology Ph.D. Program and later directed the clinical psychology master's program.

Dr. Dunn's research focuses on body image, eating behavior, mindfulness, and compassion. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and two books published by the American Psychological Association.

As a licensed psychologist , Dr. Dunn maintains a private practice focused on evidence-based therapy and coaching in relationship skills, stress management, and compassionate leadership.
