Department of Health Professions
Anchored in the pragmatic liberal arts tradition, the Department of Health Professions educates students to become effective and innovative health and behavioral professionals who will satisfy the growing demand for their services.
About the Department of Health Professions
As the need for health services increases, there is a fast-growing demand for people with the background and skills to manage and administer those services.
National trends indicate a tremendous increase in the number of students identifying health sciences and health care as their preferred major and future occupation. They need to know how to understand and address multiple issues, including business economics, the needs of patients and providers, details of medical treatments, and topics related to information technology.
Health Professions Programs
Rollins has established four programs to meet these demands:
- Undergraduate degree in healthcare management and leadership
- Master’s degree in public health
- Master’s degree in applied behavior and clinical sciences
