What started as a fun way for Student Government Association candidates to connect with classmates has grown into one of Rollins’ biggest student events of the year. Each spring, student organizations from across campus come together for a full-scale lip-sync and dance competition complete with choreography, costumes, packed crowds, and plenty of Rollins spirit.
The event is also a window into how students find their fit at Rollins. With 100-plus student organizations on campus, there are plenty of ways to get involved, whether you’re interested in arts and performance, academic and honorary societies, cultural organizations, or service-based groups. And if the club you’re looking for doesn’t exist yet, Rollins gives students the freedom to start their own.
In this video, students take you behind the scenes of Lip Sync and share what makes the tradition so much more than a performance. It’s a chance to get creative, build community, cheer on friends, and feel the kind of campus pride that makes Rollins feel like Rollins.
By the end, you’ll understand why Lip Sync has become one of those experiences students look forward to year after year—and one of the many traditions that helps bring the Rollins community together.
