The Princeton Review Names Rollins Among Nation’s Best Colleges
September 06, 2024
Rollins has been recognized as one of the nation’s best 390 colleges by The Princeton Review and has ranked among the top 25 schools in additional categories.
Rollins has been named one of the best colleges in the nation in The Princeton Review’s annual roundup of the nation’s best colleges. Serving students for more than 40 years, The Princeton Review is one of the country’s leading educational services companies in the areas of tutoring, test prep, and college admissions.
Only about 15 percent of America’s 2,600 four-year colleges are included in the 2025 edition of the college guide book, which includes detailed profiles based on data collected by The Princeton Review on a college’s academic offerings and surveys of enrolled students.
“The colleges we profile in our book are truly a select group,” says Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review and author of The Best 390 Colleges. “The colleges that make our book’s ranking lists do so entirely as a result of the opinions of their customers—students attending the colleges—who complete our 89-question survey about their school.”
In its overall profile on Rollins, this year’s Princeton Review guide quotes extensively from surveyed students. Rollins students describe the College as offering an academic experience that engages students with “local organizations and charities to bring the work we discuss in class into actual action,” while also stressing the hands-on approach to education driven by the way in which “professors get to know students … and pass along wonderful educational opportunities.”
Alongside praise for study abroad and Immersion programs—which emphasize global citizenship and the value of service learning—one student says, “Almost every single class I have taken has felt like it has a purpose and taught me things that I will be able to utilize in the real world.”
The Princeton Review also released unique rankings that name the top 25 colleges in a handful of additional categories, with Rollins ranking No. 9 for Best Health Services, No. 11 for Best Campus Food, No. 22 for Best Classroom Experience, No. 16 for Best Student Support and Counseling Services, No. 4 for Best College City, No. 23 for involvement in intramural sports, and No. 11 for Most Beautiful Campus.
The Best 390 Colleges is one of more than 150 Princeton Review books in a line published by Penguin Random House. The annual book and its rankings have been regularly featured on NBC’s Today and referenced by several media outlets, including NPR, The Wall Street Journal, and The Chronicle of Higher Education.
