Rollins Ranked Nation’s No. 1 DII Women’s Golf Program

Rollins is the No. 1 Division II women’s golf program in the country, according to athletic recruiting organization NCSA’s 2018 power rankings. Rollins was ranked first among the nation’s more than 150 four-year colleges with NCAA Division II women’s golf programs.

The Rollins women’s golf program has won 13 national championships since 1948. The team won seven National Golf Coaches Association national titles between 1948 and 1994 and has claimed six NCAA Division II national championships since 2003.

Earlier this month, women’s golf head coach Julie Garner was inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame. In her 23 seasons at Rollins, Garner has been named the Division II WGCA Coach of the Year four times and Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year five times.

Garner’s teams have won six national titles and eight Sunshine State Conference Championships. Her student-athletes have garnered six PING WGCA Player of the Year awards and three Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Year honors.

Rollins has a long history of athletic and academic excellence. Rollins’ 23 varsity sports teams have won 23 national championships and 91 Sunshine State Conference Championships, and the College recently received the Division II Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence for the eighth consecutive year. Rollins student-athletes have posted a cumulative GPA above 3.0 for 34 straight semesters.
