Zaire McCoy has been named dean of admission and associate vice president for enrollment. She will join the College June 20.

Rollins welcomes Zaire McCoy, who will join the College as dean of admission and associate vice president for enrollment on June 20.

In this role, McCoy will partner with senior College and enrollment leaders to initiate and implement an admission plan that meets the goals and priorities set for undergraduate enrollment. She will manage the admission recruitment and operations staff and will be responsible for the planning, supervision, and execution of all aspects of undergraduate recruitment, selection, and enrollment.

McCoy comes to Rollins from Elon University, where she spent the past 15 years in increasingly progressive roles in the admission department. Most recently, she served as Elon’s assistant dean of admissions. In this role, McCoy spearheaded Elon’s campus visit experience and created a North Carolina strategic recruitment plan.

“We’re thrilled to have someone with Zaire’s depth of experience and passion for the liberal arts joining the Rollins community,” says Faye Tydlaska, vice president for enrollment management and marketing. “I want to thank the search committee for their time, their insight, and their dedication in helping identify Rollins’ next dean of admission.”

McCoy received her BA from Elon and her MA from Liberty University. She is active in several national and regional professional organizations, and serves on the board of directors for the Southern Association of College Admission Counseling.

“As dean, I welcome the opportunity to learn a new and vibrant institution, exemplify participative management, apply strategic planning, and set collaborative goals for undergraduate admissions,” McCoy says.
