Amy Armenia joined the Department of Sociology in 2014, having previously taught at Randolph-Macon College and Hofstra University. She teaches Sociology of the Family, Race and Ethnic Relations, Sociological Theory, and Statistics and Data Analysis. She is a quantitative sociologist whose scholarship focuses on the intersection of the family and market, looking both at how parents balance work and family, and the challenges and contradictions faced by those who do paid care work (e.g., child care, elder care, health care). She has published her work in the journals Work and Occupations, Journal of Family Issues, Journal of Applied Social Science, Social Science Quarterly, and Social Science Research. She was co-editor of Caring on the Clock: The Complexities and Contradictions of Paid Care Work (Rutgers University Press, 2015) and is currently co-editing Confronting the Global Care Crisis during COVID-19: Past Problems, New Issues, and Pathways to Change (Rutgers University Press, in progress). Her contributions to the college via teaching, scholarship, and service were recognized with an Arthur Vining Davis fellowship in 2018.

As a member of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts office, Tiffany supports faculty advisors at Rollins College by providing professional advising knowledge, training, and expertise. Tiffany acts as a central reference point for clarifying Faculty Advisors questions or concerns. Additionally, Tiffany provides supplemental advising for advisees who are academically at risk.
Tiffany K. Griffin, M.A. is a member of NACADA and Certified in Appreciative Advising. Tiffany holds a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, both from Rollins College. When not at work, Tiffany finds activities that allow her to be curious and creative with her husband and her two kids.

Tres joined Rollins in 2012, and has lived and worked in Central Florida for over three decades. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium-sized businesses, in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. He has experience working in a variety of industries and disciplines, including higher education, management consulting, financial services, operations, sales and marketing, and business development.
He began his career with an investment firm focusing on real estate tax asset acquisition. While in that role, Tres assembled and led a team that built the company’s most profitable business unit covering the entire state of Florida. Upon graduation, Tres joined a financial consulting firm in Winter Park, Florida, specializing in providing international asset diversification guidance to individuals and small businesses. He left that firm to join RVR Consulting Group, where he worked with clients in various capacities including sales, management, operations, marketing, and analysis. In his current role, Tres teaches undergraduate courses in International Organizational Behavior and advises students who are interested in pursuing business during their undergraduate or graduate studies. He is also responsible for managing the college's 3/2 Accelerated Management Program.
Tres received his Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida, his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rollins College, and his M.B.A. from the Crummer Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Management and Entrepreneurship. He was a member of the Rollins College Men’s Soccer team from 2003-2007, serving as the team’s captain in his Junior and Senior year. Tres is involved with several nonprofit organizations, including the Conductive Education Center of Orlando and Junior Achievement of Central Florida

Prior to joining Rollins in the Fall of 2023, Ryan worked at Beacon College as the Director of First Year Experience Programming, as well-as the Lead Freshmen Learning Specialist & Academic Advisor. Trained in clinical social work; his focus has been primarily on special education & neurodivergence, and educational advocacy. He has worked with neurodivergent students to develop academic strategies and emotional resiliency to maintain and strengthen academic performance. Focusing on helping students increase levels of self-advocacy and institutional engagement. When not at work, you can find Ryan making day trips to locales of interest such as historical sites or museums, working in his stained glass shop, or playing his guitar.

Dr. Dennis supports students in applying for fellowships and scholarships that enrich their liberal arts education and help them prepare for meaningful lives and productive careers. The fellowships office works with scholarships for opportunities including study abroad/language study, internships, public policy institutes, and post-graduate travel and research.

As of early 2022, Lauren has been serving as the Advising Coordinator in the Office of Academic Advising. She is currently seeking a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Hamilton Holt School at Rollins College. Additionally, Lauren has earned a Bachelors of Art in International Relations from Rollins College in 2020.
