Massey Foundation Makes $2 Million Gift to New Crummer Building

The Harvey and Carol Massey Foundation has committed $2 million toward the all-new 44,000-square-foot building for the Crummer Graduate School of Business. The expanded Crummer facility is just one component of Rollins’ plan for the Innovation Triangle—a renovation project encompassing more than two city blocks in downtown Winter Park.

Thanks in part to the generous gift from the Massey Foundation, the new Crummer building will be situated next to the Alfond Inn and the brand-new Rollins Museum, allowing integration with a world-class boutique hotel and a dynamic teaching museum.

“We are delighted that the Masseys share our vision with their commitment to this project,” says Rollins President Grant Cornwell. “The School of Business’ placement within the Innovation Triangle will be a unique differentiator that enhances recruiting for Crummer’s portfolio of executive, professional, and early-career degree programs, drives increased participation in Crummer’s executive education programs, and builds direct connections between business and art.”

The Masseys are longtime friends of Rollins and the Crummer Graduate School of Business. Harvey and his wife, Carol, have supported several initiatives at the College, including the Crummer School Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship, where Harvey served as board chairman, and renovations to R. D. Keene Hall, home of our music programs.

Andrea Massey-Farrell ’98, president and CEO of the Harvey and Carol Massey Foundation, graduated from the Hamilton Holt School with a degree in organizational communication and has been a member of the Holt School board of advisors since 1996. She is also a leading member of the Donors Forum of Central Florida, which is administered by Crummer’s Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership.

Tony Massey ’12MBA, president of Massey Services, received his executive MBA from Crummer and is a member of the school’s board of overseers. His leadership on the executive committee of the Orlando Economic Partnership provides valuable counsel to Rollins and Crummer Dean Deborah Crown on the College’s relationships with the Central Florida business community.
