Proposals

The Latin American and Latinx Studies Symposium is a multi- and inter-disciplinary undergraduate research conference showcasing original research and creative projects completed by undergraduate students. Papers on any topic relevant to Latin American or Latinx Studies can be submitted: politics and culture, the global economy, literature, the environment, public health, gender, and art, for example.

Papers may be presented in Spanish, English, or Portuguese.

Selected proposals on similar topics will be combined into a panel presentation.

The Symposium will begin accepting paper submissions in late fall 2025.
