Rollins College has broken ground on the new Institute for Management and Executive Leadership as well as a relocated and expanded home for the Rollins Museum of Art.

The Institute and the Museum will join The Alfond Inn to create the Innovation Triangle, a hub for arts, leadership education, and hospitality that is poised to enhance Winter Park’s reputation as a premier cultural destination.

The relocated and expanded Rollins Museum of Art (RMA) will significantly enhance the region’s cultural landscape through larger gallery spaces designed to accommodate major traveling exhibitions and a more extensive display of Rollins’ distinguished permanent collection.

    A Catalyst For Inspiration and Innovation

    The new 32,000-square-foot facility is key to realizing RMA’s vision to become a premier teaching and destination museum vital to the cultural fabric not only of the Rollins campus but also of the Winter Park and Central Florida communities.

    Expanded Gallery and Exhibition Space

    The new facility will more than double RMA’s gallery space, allowing the museum to present a wider range of exhibitions in both type and scale as well as display more of its exceptional collection, which boasts over 6,000 works.

    A Teaching Museum For All

    With dedicated spaces for learning in its education wing, the new building will also allow RMA to extend its teaching mission into the community, expanding its educational programs for diverse audiences and providing intergenerational learning experiences.

Institute for Management & Executive Leadership

The new Institute will serve as a convening center for leaders across multiple sectors, including business, healthcare, government, nonprofit organizations, and civic institutions, facilitating dialogue and professional development at the local, national, and global levels.


The Alfond Inn

Thanks to its pioneering philanthropic business model and recent expansion, Rollins’ award-winning boutique hotel is creating even more opportunity for the College’s best and brightest students.

    A Bold New Chapter in Luxury and Hospitality

    The Inn’s 2024 expansion included 71 new guestrooms, a wellness spa and fitness center, an additional 2,400 square feet of meeting and event space, a second pool area, and a lobby cafe.

    Integrating Art Learning Into Daily Life

    The Inn is the only hotel in the nation to serve as a formal extension of an art museum, and the expansion provided even more spaces to showcase artwork from the Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, which has grown to nearly 500 pieces.

    Expanding Opportunity, Increasing Impact

    The Alfond Inn has funded more than 80 full scholarships to date. In the 10 years after its expansion, the Inn is projected to generate another $20 million toward the Alfond Scholars endowment and $21 million toward athletic scholarships.
