An Evening With Renowned Feminist Author Letty Cottin Pogrebin
Please join SWAG in celebrating Letty Cottin Pogrebin’s new novel, Single Jewish Male Seeking Soul Mate. Pogrebin will discuss the book with former congresswoman Pat Schroeder.
The event is free and open to the public on the Rollins College campus. No reservations or tickets required. Parking is available in the SunTrust Parking Garage at E. Lyman Ave.

About Letty Cottin Pogrebin
Letty Cottin Pogrebin is a writer, activist, and nationally known lecturer.
A founding editor of Ms. magazine, she is the author of 11 books, including a new novel, Single Jewish Male Seeking Soul Mate; two memoirs (Getting Over Getting Older and Deborah, Golda, and Me: Being Female and Jewish in America); and the acclaimed guidebook, How To Be A Friend To A Friend Who’s Sick.
Pogrebin was also the editor of the anthology, Stories for Free Children, and the editorial consultant on Free to Be, You and Me, Marlo Thomas’ groundbreaking children's book, record, and television special.

About Pat Schroeder
In 2009, former Rep. Patricia Scott Schroeder retired as president and chief executive officer of the Association of American Publishers (AAP), the national trade organization of the U.S. book publishing industry, a post she assumed on June 1, 1997. Schroeder left Congress undefeated in 1996 after representing Colorado’s First Congressional District (Denver) in the United States House of Representatives for 24 years.

About Rita Bornstein
Rita Bornstein served as president of Rollins College for 14 years as the first woman to hold that position. Bornstein has published extensively on women’s issues, including the implementation of Title IX and sex equity, overcoming bias in classrooms and textbooks, and the problems of women in or aspiring to administrative positions.
