Student Perspective: Senny Luu '12, who studied at Hong Kong Baptist University during the spring 2012 semester gives her take on study abroad

"When people tell you that study abroad will be one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences of your life you can’t help but roll your eyes and think “Yeah yeah. People keep saying that, how cliché.” Or something to that affect. Then you actually do it and get back and you’re flabbergasted at how amazing your experience ACTUALLY was. You had no idea life could exist in a completely different and foreign way. I didn’t even realize I had grown and changed so much until I came back home. This world, this life that I’ve lived for 20 years, now suddenly looks completely different. It’s like I grew a whole foot and see the world through a completely new perspective".
