The Hamilton Holt School proudly welcomes two new members to its Board of Advisors this year. Both esteemed additions bring a wealth of knowledge to the table and offer unique perspectives through their personal and professional experiences.

Gary Moses ’16MBA is the vice president and banking center manager of First Horizon Bank, where he also sits on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. He joins the Holt Advisory Board as the chair of the Advocacy Committee. He is an alumnus of Rollins’ Crummer Graduate School of Business, and both his wife and daughter are graduates of the Holt School. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Moses was chosen because of his deep connection with the Rollins community.

“Being appointed to the Rollins College Hamilton Holt Advisory Board is high praise for me, considering my family’s connections to the Holt program and the Crummer Graduate School of Business,” says Moses. “This appointment allows me not only to extend the values that I learned and experienced at Rollins, but the values I try to instill in others of servant leadership and truly being committed to your community.”

Moses went on to nominate his fellow board member, Julie Wei, a pediatric ear, nose, and throat surgeon, researcher, and professor who has served as division chief of pediatric otolaryngology/audiology at Nemours Children’s Hospital for nearly a decade. She joins the board as a member of the Philanthropy Committee and was chosen for her passion for education and focus on providing educational opportunities for working adult learners.

“Education is the foundation to addressing equity, diversity, and inclusion for a stronger society and world,” says Wei. “As a first-generation immigrant, my career has been made possible because of the incredible education I’ve received. As an adult learner now working on my master’s in medical management, I understand the challenges facing Holt students.”

The Holt Advisory Board serves as a strategic advisor to Rob Sanders, dean of the Hamilton Holt School. Both Moses and Wei will work alongside other board members to support community engagement, advocacy, and philanthropic efforts.
