Jo Marie Hebeler

Since 2016, Jo Marie Hebeler has worked to elevate Rollins’ visibility through strategic media relations and communications, building strong relationships with reporters and producers across Central Florida and beyond. From pitching stories to coordinating interviews with faculty experts, her work keeps Rollins in the news and in the public conversation. While her efforts have earned recognition from national professional associations, she is most driven by the opportunity to stoplight the achievements of Rollins students.

Her career spans more than 35 years in communications and community engagement. At Orlando Health’s South Lake Hospital, she led public relations and marketing initiatives, including the opening of a new hospital. Earlier roles at Boston College and Boston University positioned her as a liaison between campus and community, shaping how institutions connect with the people they serve.

A magna cum laude graduate of Boston College with a degree in speech communications, she brings a strategic, relationship‑driven approach to storytelling and public engagement.
