This year’s Service Excellence Departmental Award has been awarded to the Purchasing and Central Receiving departments.

The Service Excellence Departmental Award, established in 2011, recognizes a department or team that consistently delivers excellent customer service to members of the Rollins community and has proven its willingness to assist others in the campus community responsively, respectfully, collaboratively, competently, and inclusively.

Team members include Sterling Bales and Harmon Grant, central receiving specialists; Tysheika Fisher, purchasing agent; and John Overberger, director of business services. This team not only plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the College, but also in emergency response, capital-projects construction, and myriad other projects behind the scenes.
