Natasha Muco, a housekeeper in Facilities Services, has been honored with the 2023 Helen A. Ward Crossley Distinguished Service Award for Staff.
Muco has served Rollins for 24 years, consistently providing high-quality service to both her team members and the College and forging meaningful relationships across campus.
As one colleague notes, “During her tenure, Natasha has consistently kept a keen attention to detail and strong work ethic no matter what life challenges she has faced. She spreads joy in her daily service with a smile and a willingness to always help those in need. She has shared her culture through cooking with her extended Rollins family. When a community member is struggling with health issues or grieving a loss, she is there offering support and care. Natasha is a remarkable colleague, and we are lucky to have her in the housekeeping department.”
The Helen A. Ward Crossley Distinguished Service Award for Staff was established in 1999 as a means of recognizing Rollins staff members for their outstanding service and dedication to the College. The award is granted annually to a staff member whose contributions to the College over time most consistently demonstrate exceptional performance above and beyond normal job expectations. The award is named for Helen Crossley, who served under five College presidents over 59 years and personifies this recognition.
