The sisters, who previously attended Windermere Preparatory School, shared their excitement about reaching such an important achievement side by side. They described the experience of crossing the graduation stage together as both emotional and rewarding, especially because they were able to celebrate the accomplishment with their family.
During the interview, Emma and Kate reflected on the hard work and discipline that helped them succeed academically. They explained that having clear goals and remaining determined were major factors in earning the honor of valedictorian. The sisters also credited one another for providing accountability and encouragement throughout their studies. Whenever one of them felt unmotivated or overwhelmed, the other would step in to offer support and help keep them focused. They joked that having a built-in study partner may have been their “secret trick” to success.
Both sisters studied social entrepreneurship at Rollins College and have decided to continue their education by pursuing MBA degrees at the same institution. Looking ahead, Emma and Kate hope to explore careers in management and sustainability consulting. Although they enjoy working closely together, they also expressed interest in growing independently within the business world. At the same time, they remain open to the possibility of one day launching a business together in the future.
