Headshot of Kip Kiefer

Professor of Business

My research examines strategic management, human resources and entrepreneurship, especially new venture creation, opportunity recognition, entrepreneurial ecosystems and the actions of firm managers. I most commonly teach Global Business Strategy, the business program’s capstone course. I also serve as director of the Master of Human Resources program.

Prior to joining Rollins, I served more than 21 years as an Air Force officer in acquisitions program management. My assignments included programs ranging from large-scale space launch acquisitions to entrepreneurial emerging technology exploration and flying unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones.
