Bobby Fokidis, PhD
Professor of Biology
My research examines how environmental change, both natural and human‑driven, affects the physiology and behavior of wild mammals, birds, and reptiles. My work focuses on developing innovative endocrine tools to study hormones in elusive wildlife; advancing the conservation of tortoises and freshwater turtles; and in general inquiries into hidden cellular pathways that regulate steroid synthesis and secretion.
