Keith Whittingham, associate professor of management science at Rollins’ Crummer Graduate School of Business, has been named to Winter Park Magazine’s annual list of most influential residents.

Whittingham is in good company—past honorees have included notable Tars such as Lord Family Assistant Vice President for Engagement Micki Meyer, Dean of Religious & Spiritual Life Katrina Jenkins, and President Grant Cornwell and his wife, Peg, among others.

Whittingham’s inclusion on this year’s list speaks to a long passion for local and global sustainability. As a professor, Whittingham has traveled worldwide, partnering with students and farmers on sustainability missions through Rollins Global Consulting Projects. He has been essential in developing MBA courses that use enterprise and entrepreneurship to address global problems. And he’s a socially conscious entrepreneur himself, serving as the CEO of Artifx Cafe, a Fair Trade coffee distributor that provides microloans and infrastructure support to the communities that host its farmers.

Whittingham isn’t the only person to make this year’s list with a connection to the College. Architect Jack Rogers is a founding board member of the Rollins Museum of Art.
