Scholarships

Amazing Aid
Last year, we awarded over $130,000 in departmental scholarships. Rollins is closer than you think.
2023 Application Process
Follow these three steps to apply for scholarship consideration:
1. Apply for admission to Rollins College by Friday, February 2, 2024. For all the information you need to apply to the college, visit https://www.rollins.edu/admission/apply-for-admission/.
2. Submit your Priscilla Parker application and supporting documents by Friday, February 2, 2024. To do so, visit https://rollinscollege.wufoo.com/forms/priscilla-parker-scholarship-application/.
We ask for:
- Headshot (a simple photo of your face is fine – no professional snap needed!)
- Resume highlighting your experience in the theatre
- Two letters of reference
- The personal essay from your application to Rollins College
3. Attend our all day Priscilla Experience at Rollins Saturday, February 17, 2024. The faculty, staff, and students of the Department of Theatre and Dance cannot wait to meet you!
Once we receive your materials, we will contact you to offer additional instructions. In the meantime, don't hesitate to reach out to Alex Feliciano at afeliciano@rollins.edu for help.
Depending on your area of interest, here’s what you should prepare for the audition/ interview:
PERFORMANCE: If you are interested in pursuing an emphasis in Performance, prepare two separate and contrasting monologues totaling two minutes. Properties or costumes are not permitted. An interview will follow the audition.
MUSICAL THEATRE: If you are interested in pursuing an emphasis in Musical Theatre, prepare one monologue and roughly 16-32 bars of one song. Your monologue and song should contrast one another and not total more than two minutes. Properties or costumes are not permitted. If you are a dancer, you are welcome to present a piece in the style of your choosing, up to one minute in length in addition to your song and monologue (three minutes total.) An interview will follow the audition.
DESIGN/TECHNICAL THEATRE, DRAMTURGY, DIRECTING: If you are interested in pursuing an emphasis in design, technical direction, stage management, directing, or dramaturgy, prepare a PowerPoint or other digital portfolio including items such as photographs, renderings, critical reviews, or narratives of recent work. You will have five minutes to present the portfolio to the departmental faculty and staff, followed by an interview.
Applying for colleges and making your selection is exciting and can be overwhelming. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns (there is nothing too silly to ask). Email Alex Feliciano at AFeliciano@rollins.edu or call (407) 646-2501.
