Anchor Guide

Our Anchor Guide is written specifically for families as a resource based on the flow of the academic year.

This guide was prepared for two reasons. At Rollins, we deeply believe that parents and families are meaningful partners in the success of our students. Our community cherishes our relationship with you, and we want you to have any information that might assist you in supporting your student. While this guide can never capture all of the offerings of the College, we hope that it offers enough information so you know who to contact if you or your student needs support.

Our hope is for this guide to serve as an anchor that supports you and your family during this significant transition in your student’s life.

A Rollins education prepares students for global citizenship and responsible leadership, and empowers our graduates to pursue meaningful lives and productive careers. Rollins is a residential liberal arts college where our entire curriculum, community, and culture is designed intentionally for students to have access to Gateway opportunities that prepare them for life beyond college. Our committed faculty and staff want your students to be excited about learning. Current research tells us that when students form meaningful mentorship relationships with their faculty members, when they get involved in activities on campus, and when they apply their learning through internship experiences, that they are more likely to thrive in life beyond graduation.

A warm welcome to #RollinsLife. We know you, your student, and your family will #FindYourAnchor here!
