The Rollins College Wellness Center aspires to create an environment in which we celebrate the differences we share across the spectrum of human diversity. Diversity is vital to an individual's holistic development and the social fabric of the university. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment through hiring and developing culturally competent staff members and providing facilities and programs that support all members of the Rollins community.  In all of our professional activities, we embrace an open-minded and respectful attitude toward individual differences such as cultural context, race, ethnicity, ancestry, national origin, gender identity and expression, affectional orientation, socioeconomic status, veteran status, marital status, age, ability, physical characteristics, genetic information, size/body type, religious/spiritual practices and beliefs, and political beliefs.

The relationship between a client/patient and any Wellness Center staff member is confidential, and we strictly adhere to these legal and ethical obligations. You are entitled to privacy, within the capacity of the facility, and to confidentiality to the extent provided by the law. Medical and mental health records are strictly confidential and information will not be released without written authorization from the client/patient or a court order. Authorization forms for the release of information are available at the Wellness Center.

  1. Intent to harm self or others.
  2. Suspected abuse, abandonment, neglect, or exploitation of a minor child, elderly person, vulnerable adult, or resident of an institution.
  3. A properly executed court order for information.

Clients/patients are provided with documentation explaining confidentiality at the time of their appointment.
