How to Apply for Financial Aid
Interested students are encouraged to call or visit the Financial Aid Office. Counselors are available Monday through Friday by phone or on a walk-in basis from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Students may also call or visit the Holt School financial aid adviser by contacting the Holt School at 407.646.2037.
General Application Procedures
Apply and be accepted to the Hamilton Holt School
Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to follow the instructions and list Rollins College, code 001515 as a recipient of the information. Do not mail any other forms with the FAFSA application. Allow six weeks for processing.

Financial Aid Opportunities
The Hamilton Holt School offers financial assistance to students in the form of scholarships, Federal Pell Grants, Direct Loans, the Florida Resident Access Grant, the Florida Student Assistance Grant and other loans and grants.
Florida Resident Access Grant
The Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG) awards up to $3,000 per year to undergraduates who have been Florida residents for 12 consecutive months, regardless of financial need. You must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours per term) and you must complete your coursework to remain eligible. Florida residents should complete and return the Florida Residency Affidavit in their first semester at Rollins.
Hamilton Holt Scholarships
Tuition awards are available to new or current undergraduate students who have at least a 3.20 grade point average. Most of the awards are based on academic achievement, academic promise, and financial circumstances. More than $4 million in tuition scholarships has been awarded since the Scholarship Program began in 1988. The application guidelines are now online.
Bright Futures Scholarships
2015-2016 Yearly Amount: $77 or $103 per credit hour
Criteria: Awarded in high school senior year
EXCEL Transfer Scholarships
These awards are for Associate of Arts (AA) graduates from Valencia Community College, Seminole Community Colleges and Daytona State College with demonstrated academic achievement and leadership and financial need. The application guidelines are the same as for Hamilton Holt Scholarships. A separate application is not required.
International Travel Grants
As part of the institutional mission of Rollins College, the Hamilton Holt School is committed to the education of students for global citizenship (Rollins College Mission Statement). Hamilton Holt School students are encouraged to consider international travel opportunities sponsored by the Office of International Programs or other accredited institutions of higher education. Partial scholarship support is available for academic travel experiences. Students must be currently enrolled in a degree program, be matriculated through the initial admission review process, in good academic and college standing (grade point average of 3.0 or above preferred), and must have a good record of personal responsibility (e.g. judicial record). Qualified students may consult the online guidelines for application deadlines and procedures.
