Join the Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship's Hub's various events & activities throughout the year. 

October

3rd- Hive Orlando- Quality Education (SDG 4) 6:45-9:00 pm: The Hive Is A Community Think/Do Tank at which community members learn about the local impact of global sustainability challenges, ideate solutions, and then take action!

11th- Hult Prize Training 4:30-6:00 pm: The Hult Prize challenges young people to solve the worlds toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for good for-profit businesses.

19th-21st- Sullivan Ignite Retreat: From igniting passions to igniting ideas – the weekend is filled with exciting workshops, activities, and opportunities to connect you with a tribe of like-minded individuals.

20th-21st- Watson Bootcamp: Participants learn the fundamentals of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship through human-centric workshops in the root-cause identification, ideation and rapid prototyping, and social innovation through the Watson model and method. The key focus will be on concrete skills to build a social venture.

25th- Hult Prize Training- Mini Pitch 4:30-6:00 pm: Training session #2 focused on "Pitch, Refine & Feedback". The Hult Prize challenges young people to solve the worlds toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for good for-profit businesses.

November

7th- Hive Orlando- Good Health & Well-being (SDG 3) 6:45-9:00 pm: The Hive Is A Community Think/Do Tank at which community members learn about the local impact of global sustainability challenges, ideate solutions, and then take action! 

8th- Hult Prize Mentorship Session 4:30-6:00pm in Crummer 223: Last chance for students to opnely participate in the competition; groups consult with infuential faculty.

13th- Hult Prize Mini Pitch 4:30-6:00pm in Crummer 223: Observe as groups present thier work-in-progress pitches to community members and faculty.

16th- StarterStudio Community Site Visit 12:30-4:00 pm: StarterStudio is a robust entrepreneurial community for tech-enabled startups and other innovators that are adding fuel to Florida’s growing technology economy.

27th- Hult Prize On-Campus Final Competition- SunTrust Auditorium 5:30- 8:00 PM: The Hult Prize challenges young people to solve the worlds toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for good for-profit businesses. All are welcomed to support our students!

27th- A Gift For Teaching Volunteer 12:30 - 4:00 pm: A Gift for Teaching's mission is to improve public school education by providing resources and surplus materials free to teachers for their students in need.

December
