Social Impact Hub

Design Lab

This creative space gives changemakers the tools and resources to address social issues on a local and global scale.

Where Innovation Happens

The Design Lab is the Social Impact Hub's physical space where students, staff, faculty, and community leaders come together to engage in innovation and active changemaking. The Design Lab, located at the center of campus in Kathleen W. Rollins Hall, combines a modular classroom setup with hightop workspaces and lounge seating to foster creative collaboration.

Hub programs (like the Impact Incubator), community events, and select classes are held in the space. The Design Lab is available for faculty, staff, and student event use on an approval basis with priority given to those who are requesting the space for Design Thinking, prototyping, ideation, and other innovative activities, particularly those that are oriented around the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
