Immersion Experiences

A great opportunity for real-world experience addressing problems, social entrepreneurship majors are required to complete an Immersion. These experiences are typically a long weekend or a week-long adventure where you are off campus, tackling a pressing social, political, health, or environmental issue in the community. These may be local, domestic, or international. Trained faculty, staff, and student site leaders provide direction and support for participants during their journey of education, reflection, and action.

Community Engagement

Students learn best with practical applications. Classroom learning is tied to community practice and infused within the major. Consult for local non-profits, learn from social enterprise founders, develop marketing plans for socially responsible businesses, or implement educational projects for underprivileged children. Wherever the need, we’re ready to help you get involved!
