Art at The Alfond Inn

A significant part of the Museum’s Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art is on view at The Alfond Inn at Rollins, a philanthropic boutique hotel located just a couple of blocks from campus and whose proceeds fund student scholarships. The collection offers not only a lesson in the art of our times, but also in social history, civic mindedness, international affairs, and philanthropy. The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art can be seen on all floors at the Inn and is open to public viewing at all times.

Visit the Inn to see the most recent additions to the collection. New gifts of work by Firelei Báez, Elias Sime, Matthew Brannon, Steve Locke, Nicole Eisenman, Deborah Remington, and Julie Mehretu among others, are featured prominently in this year’s installation. The works on view illustrate the most recent trends in contemporary art with a global focus and respond to the educational mission of the collection.
