Rollins’ international business program takes the No. 2 spot in Florida and 22nd in the nation.
Rollins’ international business program was once again named among the best in the country by data analytics firm College Factual, landing in the No. 2 spot in Florida and No. 22 nationwide. This leading source of college data analytics and insights is highly focused on outcomes, helping students discover the right college, major, and career through national rankings, matching technology, and in-depth college profiles.
“Our students are learning decision-making and critical-thinking skills that the marketplace values,” says Emmanuel Kodzi, director of Rollins’ international business program. “We believe in inspiring our students to combine technical and cultural competencies so that they can thrive in diverse international environments.”
In addition, the international business department innovates by combining content from related areas to provide a comprehensive and enriching liberal arts experience. Intimate class sizes, attention from professors, and small group discussions elevate students’ experiences.
“An important differentiator of our program is the level of engagement and depth of insight that come from applying core concepts across different global contexts under the mentorship of faculty who have firsthand business experiences from around the globe,” adds Kodzi.
Fewer than 5 percent of the more than 16,000 schools worldwide granting business degrees are accredited. The business department at Rollins is one of them.
Graduating magna cum laude in international business at Rollins put Victoria Lynde ’16 on a fast track for a career at one of the world’s most sought-after companies.
“My degree in international business from Rollins provided a strong foundation in business acumen, global awareness, and professional development that was instrumental in securing a role as a YouTube Campaign Specialist at Google within months of graduating,” says Lynde, now an associate account strategist. “The department’s emphasis on diverse curriculum and career preparedness encouraged me to intern and study abroad, engage in extracurriculars, and grow intellectually.”
