The Rollins Debate Team is No. 1 in Florida, No. 3 in the nation, and No. 5 in the Americas.

From thousands of international applicants, the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) accepted 10 Rollins students—the largest number of students accepted from Rollins. Launched by President Bill Clinton in 2007, CGI U brings together undergraduate and graduate students who will engage in developing solutions to some of the world’s most pressing concerns, including human rights and women’s social and economic empowerment.

Rollins magazine won three awards from CASE District III, including the top prize for magazine redesign. CASE (the Council for Advancement and Support of Education) is a professional association serving educational institutions; CASE District III represents institutions in the southeastern U.S.

President Emeritus Thaddeus Seymour ’82H was named a runner-up for Orlando Sentinel’s 2013 Central Floridian of the Year, an annual nod to local heroes.
