Appointment Information

We offer in-person tutoring appointments in the Tutoring and Writing Center in Olin Library and virtual, synchronous appointments via Microsoft Teams!

  • Appointments must be made at least 12 hours in advance.
  • The minimum appointment time for content tutoring and academic skills tutoring is 25 minutes. If you need more time, you may book two back-to-back appointments. Writing consultations can be either 25 minutes or 50 minutes.
  • As per our scheduling policy, you may book up to two hours of tutoring per week per tutoring category.

In-Person Appointments

  • At the time of your appointment, you can find your tutor in the Tutoring & Writing Center on the 2nd (main) floor of Olin Library. When you enter through the main entrance to the building, turn left past the circulation desk and walk all the way to the end of the hallway. Turn right into the Lakeview Lounge area to find your tutor (you can find your tutor's name in your appointment confirmation email).

Virtual Appointments

  • At the time of your appointment, please select "Join your appointment" from your confirmation email. You will be directed to a Teams room where your tutor will meet you.
  • Before your session begins, please have any links or files ready that you'd like to share with your tutor.

✅ After your appointment, you can access your session report through EAB Navigate (if you are an undergraduate student) or by emailing tutoring&writing@rollins.edu (if you are a graduate student).

If you cannot find an appointment...

If you cannot find an appointment at a time that works for your schedule, please email tutoring&writing@rollins.edu with the following information:

  • What kind of tutoring you are looking for
  • The course (if applicable)
  • Specific times and dates you are available to meet with a tutor

We will then work with our tutors to try to accommodate your schedule.
