Great symposium!

Possibly to send out more information before the symposium about the functionings and expectations, as this is many undergraduates first or close to first time presenting at one of these events.

I think everything was great. Maybe, just to have the schedule of events uploaded to the website at least one week in advance.
It was one of my favorite days in all my undergrad career.

It was wonderful! I hope to come back next year! No further suggestions. :-)

The only minor suggestion would be to allow an hour between the last panel and the reception so that participants can unwind and relax a bit before the reception. This is totally my fault because I arrived late, but I missed the opportunity to interact informally with my colleagues from other institutions. Maybe creating an environment that is more conducive to mingling with others would have been helpful. Again, I arrived late and acknowledge that this may have been the case prior to my arrival.

It was a great event. Students need this sort of academic exchange. Thanks so much, Susan. You are an amazing event organizer and host!
Great job this year, everyone! I really enjoyed the symposium and think it was the best one we've put on in my experience.

Please let know beforehand of the usage of flash drives or other methods to send presentations. We had to buy one at the airport here.

Maybe a more authentic dinner menu beyond Tacos…Latin American cuisine is a little more beyond TexMex food.

Truthfully, I found the conference to be extremely beneficial to my students. It provided the perfect environment for students; meaning that it was not intimidating or overwhelming. Moderators and those in the audience were supportive and encouraging. I know that some of my students were nervous about presenting but felt more comfortable once they began presenting. This was due to the fact they were made to feel at ease by the smiling faces and kind words. Thank you!
