Jenifer Ruby began her career in international education 25 years ago teaching English in Japan with the Japan Exchange & Teaching Program.  After returning from Japan, she began working in international student advising in New York City where she worked for 10 years.  In 2006, Jenifer joined the Rollins College community where she serves as the Director of International Student & Scholar Services. Jenifer continues to be inspired by her work with the Rollins' international student population making their experience in the U.S. a successful one. 

Jenifer has a great passion for Japanese culture and literature. Her academic area of interest is East Asian Studies, in which she has earned a Master of Arts degree from St. Johns University. Jenifer is committed to serving her profession through volunteer leadership.  She previously served as the Chair of the Florida Association of International Educators, NAFSA Florida State Representative, and Chair for the NAFSA ISSS Knowledge Community.  She is also a NAFSA Trainer Corps member.

Megan Kohr who joined Rollins College in January 2019 serves as the Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services. She just moved from rural Iowa where she was the Coordinator for International Student and Scholar Services at Upper Iowa University and has 12 years of experience in the field primarily in the ISSS area. Megan is currently working on her thesis for a master’s in Anthropology, serves as an Academy Coach for Class 16 through NAFSA, and has a young daughter with whom she is excited to explore Orlando.
