2024 CLA/Holt Student Graduation Checklist

Petition to Graduate

  • CLA and Holt students are required to submit a Petition to Graduate form. Submission of the form is done via the MyRollins link.

Seating Accommodations for Holt - Saturday, May 11, 2024

General Admission seating will be in the bleachers of Warden Arena. If you have a guest who has mobility issues, cannot climb stairs, or requires wheelchair access, please fill out the seating accommodations survey below. No tickets are required for the Holt Commencement Ceremony.

    Seating Accommodations for CLA - Sunday, May 12, 2024

    General Admission tickets are located in the bleachers of Warden Arena. If you have a guest who has mobility issues, can't climb stairs, or requires wheelchair access, please fill out the seating accommodations survey below. The seating accommodations area requires a special ticket and cannot be accessed with a general admission ticket.

    CLA Ceremony - Sunday, May 12 

      Complete the Diploma Name Survey

      Complete the Participation Survey

      • Students must sign in to MyRollins to complete the Commencement Participation and Name Pronunciation survey.
      • The survey closes on Friday, May 3, 2024. CLA students registering after May 3 are not guaranteed to receive 4 tickets for the ceremony.
      • December graduates – The Registrar’s Office has sent out a Qualtrics participation survey link to your @rollins.edu email for you to register to participate. Contact the Registrar’s Office if you have any questions.
      • If you have any questions regarding the Participation Survey, please email the Registrar’s Office.

      Regalia - Deadline to Order Regalia - March 1, 2024

      • If you missed the deadline to order regalia, please email Mary Vitelli or stop by the Bookstore.
      • All students must have regalia to participate in Commencement.
      • Regalia will be available to pick up starting April 24, 2024.

      Tickets (CLA Ceremony Only)

      • Each graduate participating in commencement will receive four (4) tickets. Students not participating in the ceremony are not eligible for tickets.
      • Students must pick up their individual tickets and an ID will be required.
      • IMPORTANT: General Admission tickets will be located in the bleachers of Warden Arena. If you have a guest that requires seating accommodations (can't climb stairs, wheelchair access, please fill out the seating accommodations survey below. The seating accommodations area requires a special ticket.
      • There are 3 ways in which students can pick up tickets:
      • 1) Ticket Kick-Off Event: Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 12pm to 4pm at the Center for Career & Life Planning, located on the first floor of Kathleen W. Rollins Hall. Students must pick up their individual tickets and an ID will be required.
      • 2) Regular Pickup: Students who are unable to attend the Kick-Off event can collect their tickets on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 9am to 3pm, as well as during the week of May 6-10, 2024. Pickup times during the week are Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm and Friday, May 10, 2024, from 9am to 3pm. Ticket pickup will be available on the first floor of Kathleen W. Rollins Hall. Students must pick up their individual tickets and an ID will be required.
      • 3) Will Call - Day of Ceremony - For students unable to pick up tickets before commencement, their tickets will be available for family members/guest to collect at Will Call on the day of the event inside Warden Arena.

      • Holt and Crummer ceremonies on Saturday, May 11, 2024 will not be ticketed and there is no limit to the number of guests you can invite.

      CLA/Holt Post Graduation Survey

      • The Center for Career & Life Planning (CCLP) will email all 2024 CLA and Holt graduating seniors in April to complete the post-graduation survey, sharing their employment and graduate school outcomes.
      • The survey takes five minutes or less to complete, and the information is kept confidential.
      • We ask that you complete the survey prior to attending the Ticket Kick-Off Event on Thursday, May 2 from 12-4pm in Kathleen W. Rollins Hall, first floor.
      • Survey completion is required for you to receive your graduation gifts from CCLP and Alumni Engagement.

      Mandatory Commencement Rehearsal for CLA Students Only

      • Friday, May 10, 2024 - 4pm - Knowles Memorial Chapel.
      • CLA Students must be in the Chapel at 9am on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

      Baccalaureate Event

      • Saturday, May 11, 2024, 6pm, Knowles Memorial Chapel
      • Baccalaureate is a nondenominational service honoring the CLA Class of 2024 where students from each faith reflect on their time at Rollins.
      • This service is open to CLA students and their families.
      • Visit the Baccalaureate webpage for more information.

      Cords and Tassels

      • Cords should be picked up in the department and/or student organization from which they are awarded before commencement. They will not be available on the day of commencement.
      • CLA students graduating with Latin honors can pick up their tassel when they pick up commencement tickets or at the mandatory graduation rehearsal on Friday, May 10, 2024.
      • Holt students graduating with Latin honors can pick up their tassels in the Registrar’s Office before commencement or in the Chapel the day of their commencement ceremony.

      Day of Ceremony for Holt and CLA Students

      • Holt Students must be in the Chapel at 1pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
      • CLA Students must be in the Chapel at 9am on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

      Post-Graduation Reception

      A post-graduation reception for Holt and CLA Students will take place in the Rice Family Pavilion directly after each ceremony. Light food and beverages will be provided.

        Items Not Permitted During The Ceremony

        Air horns, champagne bottles, beach balls, etc., are not permitted during the commencement ceremony.
