Formal Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment

Formal Recruitment is a fun and exciting process that enables the fairest opportunities for interaction between sorority women and potential new members (PNMs). During the week of recruitment you will get to visit each sorority at least once. Each chapter hosts nightly events throughout the first three days, at which they provide information about themselves and get to know you better.
Participating organizations: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, Delta Zeta, Kappa Delta and Non Compis Mentis


Values Night Learn about the values of each chapter and how they live them everyday.

Philanthropy Night Learn about each chapter's philanthropy and why it's important to them.

Sisterhood Night Learn about what makes each chapter's sisterhood special.

When is sorority recruitment? Sorority Recruitment will be taking place from January 8th - 13th, 2024

Is sorority recruitment virtual or in-person? All recruitment events are scheduled to take place in person.

Where do I register for sorority recruitment? Registration opens on Thursday, October 5th!

Do I have to register? Yes! Registration is required to participate.

How do I know if I am eligible to participate in sorority recruitment? PNMs are required to have completed 12 college credits and have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

 Eligibility Requirements for Recruitment: 

  • Enrolled undergraduate student at Rollins College
  • Good Standing with the Office of Community Standards & Responsibility 
  • You will need to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 
  • You must have at least 12 credits completed from an institution of higher education. 

If I live on campus, do I have to move back in early? Yes. All residential students who register for recruitment will be approved to move in early, date to be determined. A communication about move in logistics will be sent from the Office of Residential Life and Explorations.

Who do I reach out to regarding any accommodations needed? You can email our Panhellenic Advisor, Gabrielle Bell at and she can assist you with whatever you need! 

How can I be involved and meet people before recruitment? Make sure to stay up to date on everything by following our Instagram @rollinspanhellenic! Attend a Panhellenic Recruitment information session or attend an FSL sponsored event that is open to the campus (philanthropy events).

Will participating in recruitment prevent me from attending classes? No! You are not permitted to miss academic or athletic commitments to participate in recruitment events. You will be able to let us know if you have any class/athletic conflicts with the recruitment schedule, we will collect this information in January.

Is attending orientation required? Yes. Orientation will take place on Monday, January 8th. 

What is the cost of being a member of a sorority? All chapters have different price points which can be found here.

Is there a limit of how many women can join a sorority? Yes and no. Everyone can join a sorority, they just can’t join the same sorority.

How many bids can I receive? Only one
