How to Apply

Although the process for applying for financial aid can seem complicated, it can easily be broken down into three critical steps.

• Step 1: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Step 2: Respond to any requests from the Financial Aid Office concerning additional information that may be required.
• Step 3: Receive your award letter 1-2 weeks later. This will help you determine what your out-of-pocket expenses will be.

FAFSA Timeline

If you need financial aid for Fall 2022 through Summer 2023, submit the 2022-2023 FAFSA.
--Available between October 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023.
--Use income and tax data from 2020.

If you need financial aid for Fall 2023 through Summer 2024, submit the 2023-2024 FAFSA.
--Available between October 1, 2122 and June 30, 2024.
--Use income and tax data from 2021.
