Below are answers to questions regarding Rollins Family Weekend November 1-3, 2019!

When should families arrive and depart?

Check-in and welcome packet pick-up opens at 10:30 a.m. on November 1, 2019. If you would like to meet with your student's advisor, meetings are available by appointment on Friday, November 1st only. (Appointments must be requested by Friday, October 25th and are based on faculty availability.) Friday's schedule is full of great open houses across campus, and a fun Street Party don't miss it! Saturday morning, there will be a selection of morning programs followed by a picnic on the Mills Lawn. Saturday afternoon includes athletic events, tours of the new Kathleen W. Rollins Hall, an evening WPRK concert, and trivia night! Sunday events include our annual Founder's Day worship service that will conclude by noon.

Where should I park?

The parking is open and free in the SunTrust Parking garage, the new Rollins Parking Garage, and on-campus. The SunTrust Garage is located at 203 East Lyman Avenue The Rollins Garage is located at 460 East Fairbanks Avenue.

How do families register?

Registration is online and begins September 5, 2019. A link can be found here and on the Family Weekend homepage. Parents and families also will receive emails regarding Family Weekend registration beginning September 5. As part of the registration process, you will receive a confirmation of the events your family signed up to attend. Registered families may pick up their information packets beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 1 in the Archibald Granville Bush Science Center Auditorium Lobby. Onsite registration begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 1, in the Archibald Granville Bush Science Center Auditorium Lobby.

What is the cost?

The registration fee is $53 per family for the weekend festivities. 

How do I schedule an appointment with my student's advisor?

You may request an appointment with your student’s advisor by contacting the Student Affairs office by email ( with your student’s name, faculty advisor, and the time you will arrive on campus on Friday, November 1. All appointments must be requested by Friday, October 25 to ensure appointments times can be scheduled. Please know, appointments are based on first-come, first-served faculty availability.

I'd like to know more about Rollins Study Abroad programs and opportunities, who can I meet with?

If your student interested in Study Abroad opportunities, consider scheduling an appointment on Friday, November 1st with staff from International Programs and to learn more about Rollins’ semester and short-term study abroad programs. To schedule an individual appointment email or call 407-646-2466.

I'm an international parent, can I meet with staff to answer some of my questions?

Yes! To meet with staff in the Office of International Student & Scholar Services simply email or call 407-691-1158 to schedule a meeting on Friday, November 1st.


Registration begins September 6, 2019. Online registration closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30th. Walk-in Registration will be from 10:30-4 p.m. on Friday, November 1st in Bush Auditorium Lobby.
