Below are answers to questions regarding Rollins Virtual Family Weekend October 23-25, 2020.

When will I receive more information about the Family Weekend virtual experience?

Our planning team is busy putting together a interactive, fun, and educational experience for Rollins families. Watch your email for the Rollins' Parent & Family Welcome newsletter, and email invitations to our Virtual Family Weekend festivities! 

How do families register & how do I attend?

Online registration is open until October 19! Parents and families will also receive emails regarding Family Weekend registration in September. We are hopeful that by offering a virtual experience, more members of your family will have access to take part in the weekend opportunities! To receive WebEx links to weekend programs, you must be registered for Family Weekend. Registered participants will receive an email the week of October 19 with the links to all weekeknd activities.

What is the cost?

Rollins' Virtual Family Weekend is free! However, we ask that families pre-register to attend in order to receive information on our virtual weekend events.

I'd like to virtually meet my student's advisor, how do I schedule an appointment? 

To request a WebEx or phone appointment with your student’s advisor simply complete the faculty appointment form. Please include your student’s name, their faculty advisor, your name and email and if you prefer to meet via WebEx or by phone. All appointments must be requested by October 16 to ensure appointments times can be scheduled. Please know, appointments are based on first-come, first-served faculty availability.

I'd like to know more about Rollins Study Abroad programs and opportunities, who can I meet with?

If your student interested in Study Abroad opportunities, consider scheduling an appointment directly with staff from International Programs to learn more about Rollins’ semester and short-term study abroad programs. Please click here to schedule and individual appointment, or call 407-646-2466.

I'm an international parent, can I meet with staff to answer some of my questions? 

Yes! To meet with staff in the Office of International Student & Scholar Services you can register as part of the weekend registration to attend their Open House being held from 11-11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 23. Or you can email  OISSS@rollins.edu or call 407-691-1158 to schedule an individual WebEx meeting.
