Set yourself up for success by completing everything on this new student checklist prior to orientation.

Connect to Your Online Resources

Via the Rollins student directory site. It is important that you set up your Rollins email account and access Foxlink as soon as possible. Need help? IT HelpDesk: 407-628-6363 or online.

Register for Classes

Spring 2019 registration for all new graduate students will open on November 20, 2018. You must complete your Title IX training prior to registration.  See the Registration tab for more instructions once you have finished reading this checklist.

Print a Detailed Class Schedule

Accessible via FoxLink. You will need this to get your R-Card and purchase books.

Obtain Your R-Card

All students are required to obtain an R-Card. Visit the Campus Security office to pick yours up. Your R-Card serves as your college identification and shows your R-Number. It also can serve as a debit card for dining and retail on campus. There is no charge for your first R-Card. You must bring a copy of your student schedule and a photo ID with you to the R-Card office.

Get Your Parking Decal

You will be charged $70 for your parking permit upon registration. You may pick up your parking decal at the Campus Security office. Your R-Card will allow you unlimited access to the SunTrust Parking garage. Read the rules and regulations about campus parking carefully. If you do not wish to purchase a parking decal, please complete the Parking Decal Wavier Request Form.

Buy Your Books

Available from the Rollins College Bookstore or eFollet online. The Rollins Bookstore is located near the corner of New York Avenue and Fairbanks Avenue.
Through FoxLink, you can deposit money onto your R-Card to use financial aid to pay for your books.

Pay Your Tuition

See the Financial Aid tab for more information after you have finished reading this checklist.

Complete Mandatory Online Title IX Training

Prior to beginning classes on campus, you are required to complete an online Title IX training series. If you do not complete this training, a registration hold will be placed on your student account that will prevent you from registering for future semesters.

Once you have completed the training, please send a scanned copy of your completed certificates to
graduatestudies@rollins.edu.

To complete the training:

  1. Access Foxlink
  2. Click on the Student tab, then select Student Life from the drop-down menu
  3. Look for the Safe@Rollins Online Courses box toward the center bottom.
    1. To begin the training modules, click on Access Online Learning Portal
    2. For course descriptions, click on Safe@Rollins

  4. Once you have completed the registration process, please complete the following three mandatory courses:

    2. Under “Harassment/Respect Among Peers” – select “SH-110-H Show Some Respect! Prevent Harassment
    3. Under “Healthy Relations and Dating Violence” – select “SH-120-H Healthy Relationships (Higher Education)
