Spring 2023 Updates

Dear Campus Community:

We hope you are enjoying much needed rest and relaxation during your holiday break!

Last week, The White House brought back its free, at-home, rapid COVID test program. The COVID-19 Winter Preparedness Plan was designed to address what health experts are calling a “tripledemic” of COVID, the flu, and RSV. All U.S. households can order four at-home tests that will be mailed to you for free. Please take advantage of this program and order your COVID tests here.

We have made a few changes to our COVID processes and policies for spring, which will be reflected on our COVID site:

  • We will pause the dashboard for the spring semester.
  • We will no longer provide meal deliveries for those in isolation on campus. Students will still need to isolate in their rooms if they are unable to go home, but they can grab food to go two times per day wearing a mask.

If you test positive for COVID-19, stay home for at least 5 days and isolate away from others. You are likely most infectious during these first 5 days.

  • Wear a high-quality mask if you must be around others at home and in public.
  • Do not go places where you are unable to wear a mask. For travel guidance, see CDC’s Travel webpage.
  • Do not travel via public transportation.

We wish you health and happiness this holiday season so that you can return well rested and healthy in the Spring term!
