Rollins Crummer Graduate School of Business Announces Spring 2016 Commencement



WINTER PARK, FL (April 20, 2016) —The Rollins Crummer Graduate School of Business’ Spring commencement will be held April 30, 2016 with a commencement address delivered by Mike McKee, president and CEO of McKee Foods Corporation, the manufacturer and marketer of branded sweet baked goods, cereals, and snacks including Little Debbieâ, Sunbeltâ Bakery, and Heartlandâ Brands.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome an esteemed business leader such as Mike McKee as this year’s commencement speaker,” said Tom McEvoy, Dean of Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. “Through his experience leading a family-owned company with a deep-routed history of success, Mr. McKee has cultivated a wealth of invaluable business acumen and we look forward to the insights he has to impart on our graduates.”

During the week of Commencement, graduates take part in an MBA Oath ceremony where they sign a commitment to the ethics taught at Crummer and network with fellow graduates, faculty, and alumni. The Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Induction Ceremony and Reception, an event to honor the newest inductees into the honorary business society, will be held on Friday, April 29.

The 2016 graduating class includes 141 students from nine countries outside of the U.S. including Argentina, China, India, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.  In addition to representing a geographically diverse background, these graduates also come from an array of top-tier companies including The Walt Disney Company, U.S. Marine Corps, and Tupperware Brands to name just a few.
