Crummer Professor Invited to Serve on Fulbright U.S. Student Screening Committee

May 6, 2015 - Dr. Mary Conway Dato-on, Associate Professor of International Business at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, has been selected to serve on the Fulbright-Hayes U.S. Student Program National Screening Committee at the start of the 2016-2017 academic year.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the largest international exchange program in the U.S., offers students and young professionals international graduate study opportunities, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. It currently awards approximately 1,900 grants annually and operates in more than 140 countries. As a member of the National Screening Committee, Conway Dato-on—a former Fulbright scholar herself—will review and recommend applications from some of the nation’s best and brightest Business students.

“As a Fulbright Scholar I am always looking for ways to give back and pay forward so that others may benefit from the international, cultural and academic learning of the Fulbright program,” said Conway Dato-on. “I am honored to have been asked to join the review committee and am excited to read about the ideas that today’s most gifted youth have for international projects.”

Conway Dato-on will serve a three-year term for the National Screening Committee, through the 2018-2019 academic year.
