1987 Graduate and CEO of iMatchative Samuel Hocking to Deliver Address on May 2

May 01, 2015 - The Rollins Crummer Graduate School of Business’ Spring commencement will be held May 2, 2015 with a commencement address delivered by Samuel Hocking Jr., 1987 Rollins graduate, member of the Rollins Board of Trustees, and founder and CEO of iMatchative Inc., a San Francisco–based technology company that matches investors and hedge funds.

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Hocking back in Winter Park to deliver the 2015 commencement address,” said Tom McEvoy, Dean of Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. “Mr. Hocking is a perfect example of a Rollins alum who applied the business principles we teach at Crummer and became a very successful business leader. We look forward to him sharing his experience as an industry role model with our graduating students.”

During the week of Commencement, graduates take part in an MBA Oath ceremony where they sign a commitment to the ethics taught at Crummer and network with fellow graduates, faculty, and alumni. The Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Induction Ceremony and Reception, an event to honor the newest inductees into the honorary business society, will be held on Friday.
