Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business Accepting Application for Martin Bell Scholarship

October 22, 2013 - The Rollins MBA at the Crummer Graduate School of Business today announced that it is now accepting applications for the Martin Bell Scholarship. The Martin Bell Scholarship is awarded annually to a senior nonprofit professional who demonstrates outstanding leadership in their field.

“The Martin Bell Scholarship honors individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to developing their leadership skills in the nonprofit sector,” said Craig McAllaster, dean of the Crummer Graduate School of Business. “By taking advantage of the opportunities available through the Rollins MBA experience, participants will be well-equipped to make a positive impact in the workplace.”

The Martin Bell Scholarship was established in 1988 in honor of Dr. Martin L. Bell, former director of the Rollins Executive MBA program, who was a passionate advocate of business graduates using their skills to benefit charitable organizations.

In addition to the required Admissions paperwork, applicants must submit an essay detailing how they will use an MBA to advance the nonprofit industry. Essays must be at least 500 words. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is January 15, 2014. The application and instructions can be accessed online at
