Rollins Welcomes Michael Yates as Business Development Manager

July 8, 2013 - Michael Yates has joined the school as Business Development Manager with the Management and Executive Education Center. He will be working with both public and private organizations to provide expert advice in the areas of leadership development, management skill building and executive coaching.

“Michael’s skills and impressive background make him a great fit for Rollins,” said Erica Sorrell, the Executive Director at the Management & Executive Education Center. “He has extensive experience serving Fortune 500 companies. We are excited to have him join the team.”

Michael has over 22 years of experience and has applied his knowledge for clients including Alcoa, Cox Communications, CHScottEnterprises (an IT consulting service), Chick-fil-A, Cisco Systems, Interface (an environmental company), GlaxoSmithKline, Merck and The Ken Blanchard Companies. Prior to joining Rollins, he was an executive consultant with Avastone Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia and served on the firm’s practice leadership team for over 10 years. Michael’s expertise centers on business assessment, executive coaching and leadership development.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Indianapolis, and a Professional Certification in Organization Change/Management. He is also an Executive Coach certified by both the Leadership Circle Institute and PDI. Michael is a veteran of the United States Army and served honorably for 6 years.
