Students Receive Awards from Financial Executives International

May 14, 2013 - Financial Executives International’s Central Florida Chapter (FEI) recently honored two Rollins MBA students with outstanding student awards. Brock Nicholas received the FEI’s Medallion Award for outstanding performance in an MBA program. Tatiana Castillo received a cash scholarship of $1,000.

“We are very pleased with the recognition of our Rollins MBA students by the FEI Central Florida Chapter,” said Halil Kiymaz, Bank of America Professor of Finance, who also chairs the academic committee of FEI.

The FEI Medallion is awarded annually to honor a graduating student’s outstanding academic achievements and high potential for career success in either financial analysis or financial management. The FEI’s scholarship is awarded to a current student to recognize outstanding accomplishments and a high level of interest in a financial career and high potential for success as a financial executive.

Nicholas and Castillo received their awards at the organization’s annual Future Financial Executives Night on April 13, 2013, at the Citrus Club in Orlando and were again honored during the Rollins MBA commencement ceremonies on May 4, 2013.
