Congratulations Leadership Students!

February 5, 2013 - The Center for Leadership Development is pleased to announce the Rollins MBA students who have been selected as semi-finalists in the SunTrust Leader of Merit competition and as participants in the Certificate of Leadership program.

SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit
The SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit award is the top honor given to a student active in the Center for Leadership Development who best exemplifies the qualities of ethical, responsible and thoughtful leadership, and who has applied these “soft skills” and practices at the school and throughout the community. Supported by the generosity of SunTrust Bank, this recognition is considered among the most prestigious awards given by the Rollins MBA to a second year full-time student. The eligibility criteria for this award includes participation in leadership programs, such as coaching and the Bright House Lunch and Learn series, completing course work in leadership and communication, and performing community service. Students who meet these criteria compile a Leadership Portfolio that includes a development plan, written reflections of demonstrated leadership, references, a resume and future leadership objectives based on the “soft skills” they learn while earning the Rollins MBA. Entries are judged by a selection panel of local Orlando business leaders who serve on the Leadership Center’s advisory board .

The following 2nd Year EA students have advanced to the level of SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit semi-finalists:

  • Maisa Aguiar
  • Bobby Mammen
