Rollins MBA Dean McAllaster Elected to AACSB International Board of Directors

March 2, 2011 – Rollins MBA Dean Dr. Craig McAllaster was recently elected to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International Board of Directors. With an unprecedented 504 ballots cast, representing over 40 percent of the voting membership from 53 countries, AACSB welcomed the results as a demonstration of member enthusiasm, interest, and support in the organization’s leadership and future. Dr. McAllaster will begin his three-year term in July.

“I’m honored to be chosen to sit on the AACSB board,” said Dr. McAllaster. “Working with the organization not only allows me to bring new ideas home, but also keeps me close to trends in business education. It allows me to advance the Rollins MBA programs and Florida both nationally and globally.”

Dr. McAllaster has been actively involved with the AACSB accreditation activities since 2004, having served for several years on the AACSB International Initial Accreditation Committee, and has participated in numerous accreditation visits. He spent five years on the Maintenance of Accreditation committee, served the AACSB as an advisory committee member at the 2010 Dean’s Conference and moderator of the 2009 International Conference and Annual Meeting.

Dr. McAllaster is a frequent guest lecturer at academic and corporate events, and speaks on influence, ethics, leadership, and organizational change.
