Rollins MBA Ranked Top in Florida for Leadership Development by Leadership Excellence Magazine for Second Year

October 29, 2010 — Rollins College has been recognized for a second year as a top leadership development educator by Leadership Excellence magazine. The Rollins MBA was cited as 24th in the nation and the top school in Florida out of the graduate programs included in the ranking.

The Leadership Excellence “Best in Leadership Development Program” ranks the top leadership development best practices of small to midsize organizations, large organizations, education, nonprofit organizations, government/military, consultants/trainers/coaches and large consulting groups. The rankings are based on seven criteria: vision/mission; involvement and participation; measurement and accountability; design, content and curriculum; presenters, presentations and delivery; take-home value; and outreach.

“We are committed to providing our MBA students with the opportunity for leadership development because we believe each one of them has the potential to grow as a person and as a leader,” said Craig McAllaster, dean, Rollins MBA. “Building solid leadership skills is a fundamental part of the academic experience and we believe it is one of the most important skills our students develop.”
